

Vinny himself even introduced himself to us at our table. If you’re ever in Sydney, you MUST go to Mark + Vinny’s. I also enjoyed the mint julep spritz, a mix of rye whiskey, lemon, smoked lemonade, prosecco, lavender, and mint. The lasagna sheets weren’t just any lasagna sheets – they were charcoal, blue spirulina, and beetroot lasagna sheets. I had the lasagne vegano and it was possibly one of the greatest meals I have ever eaten. I was drawn to the restaurant because it has so many vegan options, which is my preference.

It’s an Italian place in Surry Hills called Mark + Vinny’s Spaghetti + Spritz. Before going to Byron Bay, I went to what is now my favorite restaurant in Sydney, and I forgot to write about it.
